The first draft of CAPTAIN SUPERLATIVE is written.

April 2013
CAPTAIN SUPERLATIVE is taken to the Chicago Dramatists as part of a workshop class, under Douglas Post. Subsequent drafts are written throughout the course of the class.

September 2013
The Growing Stage Theatre puts out a call for new TYA pieces to be part of their annual reading series. CAPTAIN SUPERLATIVE is submitted and selected.

November 2013
CAPTAIN SUPERLATIVE is read at the Growing Stage Theatre. A subsequent draft is written from the feedback.

March 2014
CAPTAIN SUPERLATIVE is read at the Growing Stage Theatre once again. A subsequent draft is written from the feedback.

April 2014
CAPTAIN SUPERLATIVE is selected as part of the 2014-15 season at the Clockwise Theatre in Waukegan, Illinois.

August 2014
Madeline Franklin is named director. General auditions are held.

November 2014
CAPTAIN SUPERLATIVE opens.

December 2014
CAPTAIN SUPERLATIVE closes after a five-week run.

February 2015
CAPTAIN SUPERLATIVE is chosen to participate in the Purple Crayon Players’ PLAYground Festival of New Works. Savannah Couch is named director. General auditions are held.

May 2015
CAPTAIN SUPERLATIVE is read at the Purple Crayon Players’ PLAYground Festival of New Works. A subsequent draft is written from the feedback.
